Kristen and Matt are getting married later this year and we met them on the town square in Dahlonega for a cup of coffee before we headed to Montaluce for their engagement session. This very attractive and incredibly nice couple are originally from Texas, but now live in the Atlanta area. Randi Malone assisted with lighting and shot some great images from the tripod with a Nikon D3s and a Nikkor 200mm f/2, great job Randi.

We were graciously allowed to shoot inside the winery and really appreciate the accommodation. The shoot was a blast and it was so good to spend some quality time with Kristen and Matt and have a chance to swap stories and laugh a little together. We can't wait for their wedding; Kristen is going to be an incredibly beautiful bride and Matt is going to look so dashing in his tuxedo.

Lindsay and Ryan met us at Montaluce Winery & Estates for their engagement session late in the afternoon of very humid August day. Dana Hornbeck assisted with lighting and shot some frames with my Nikon cameras, "say it ain't so" - just kidding Dana, when we were shooting natural light. We had a blast with this fun loving couple and thoroughly enjoyed the shoot.

The vines were gorgeous and the grapes were ripening and getting ready to fall. The white mesh nets were in place to catch the juicy fruit and the vineyards were the perfect location to capture some images of this handsome couple.

Montaluce is so beautiful any time of year, but during the harvest season is so majestic; the perfect location for an engagement shoot. The steep rollings hills, beautiful villa of the winery with its exquisite restaurant and the stately oaks and well manicured grounds are exceptional backdrops for a young couple preparing for marriage. We had a very pleasant time with Lindsay and Ryan, they are exceptionally kind and we hope they enjoy their images as much as we enjoyed capturing them. We can't wait for our next opportunity to shoot Lindsay's bridal session and see them tie the knot in the fall of 2013.

Kori and I met Hannah and Jonathan at 6 AM at Tybee Island on Saturday to shoot their engagement session. We moved our gear to the beach and waited for the sunrise. It was so beautiful to witness the sun rising on the horizon and the ships sailing into Savannah harbor.

It was so nice to see Hannah again and to meet Jonathan, we moved to Forsyth Park in Savannah and then grabbed some lunch before our drive back to Dahlonega. It was a marvelous session with Hannah and Jonathan and we can't wait for their wedding later this year.

Jessi and Adam are getting married in October of this year at Butts Mill Farms in Pine Mountain, Georgia. They are the sweetest couple and Kori and I had a fantastic engagement session on a very hot mid July day. We had an absolute blast traveling between locations and they were so much fun to photograph. Here are a few images from the session and we can't wait to see them again soon.

I met Vertta and Nathan at Stone Mountain Park for their engagement shoot. I had talked with Vertta a few times on the phone and found her charming and couldn't wait for this session. When I met Nathan I was immediately impressed by his kindness and friendly demeanor; it took me about 30 seconds to realize how much in love these two are. They are so good together and our whole session could be summed up in a single word, 'JOY.'

We had a great shoot had a few prime locations in the park. I am about halfway through their images and there are so many that are just adorable. I quickly picked a few for this blog post while I finish my culling and processing. Trust me when I tell you the best is yet to come, this collection of images are from early in our session at the Antebellum Plantation. I can't wait to finish their images and post their online gallery.

Later this summer our team of photographers will be documenting their wedding and we can't wait. This is a very special couple and I can't wait to see them again, just being in their presence makes me break out in a big smile. I really like this couple and I see nothing but a bright and happy future. Congratulations to Nathan for winning the hand of Vertta and all our best wishes to our beautiful bride to be.
