Welcome to Jeffrey Franks Photography. This is the official blog where we post images and information about recent assignments. We are wedding photojournalists that take a hybrid approach to documenting our clients joyous events. Ninety percent of the time we are in photojournalists; staying in the shadows, waiting for those special expressions and moments that are so precious, but ten percent of the time we are setting up powerful studio lights to create beautiful formal portraits of the bride and groom, their families and the wedding party.

Welcome to the Jeffrey Franks Photography blog. The blog was designed and built by the incredible team of Dave Warfel and Brock Martin at Infinet Design. I have a long history with software development, in a parallel universe my evil twin is an integration architect, and that environment can be very stressful. But, I thoroughly enjoyed the process of creating the blog, from start to finish, I have never met two nicer guys to work with and I strongly recommend Infinet Design; simply the best. Thanks Dave and Brock, anytime you visit Hot Lanta the beer is on me.

We are hard at work creating new content and moving some previous content to the blog. Give us a few weeks to get everything in place and please check back often. Additionally, we are in the process of revamping the studio's web presence. The great folks at liveBooks, in particular, Dayle Hendrickson and Adam Royer, are beginning the final phase in the development of two new websites; Wedding and Portrait. If you are not familiar with liveBooks, and you are a professional photographer, you owe it to yourself to take a look at their fantastic sites; especially their custom websites. Their EditSuite website management software is the industry standard for professional photography sites.

If you are wondering about the original blog, have no fear, it's still in existence and it will continue; however, that blog will adopt a new focus of providing photographers of all experience levels with helpful information about all things related to the craft of photography. Future posts will concentrate on shooting techniques, digital darkroom tools and equipment reviews. A face lift will be in the works as soon as the dust settles on our more immediate projects.
